The image engraved on the board is very clean and looks great, although it's very deep cuts into the wood that leaves kind of a rough texture which would make it unusable as a cutting board. If you want to be able to use it, I would recommend ordering one of their designs with a smaller image off to a corner/side of the board rather than taking up most of it.
